About Our Client
The Greenlining Institute works towards a future where communities of color can build wealth, live in healthy places filled with economic opportunity, and are ready to meet the challenges posed by climate change.
We worked with the Greenlining Institute on this comprehensive 120-page report outlining the creation and implementation of Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) – a California program that could serve as a national model for climate action. Unlike most government programs, TCC puts communities in charge, giving them the power and resources to fight climate change and build stronger, healthier, more economically resilient communities.
The report suite includes a collection of case studies highlighting the real-world impact of the program in the California cities of Oakland, Ontario, Stockton & Northeast San Fernando Valley.
Because the report was so long, our design goal was to help break down complex information into an accessible format, using typography, color, and custom icons. We carried the color ways from the full report into case studies and ensured visual cohesion across the full report, executive summary and case studies.
